For the past few weeks I have been taking a class at LIM college (my future college, fingers crossed :)) The class was called The Stylist Role, this drew me in right away, hence the name of my blog. The basis of the class was that we learned the stylist role. We learned the history of fashion of course, what's in for upcoming F/W seasons, tips & tricks and so much more. If you want to be a stylist this is a great class to take if you're in high school and wanting to get your foot in the door of the fashion industry. So towards the end of class we got to style a photo shoot! This was so fun! I worked with 4 other girls styling with the designer MILLY (we met the designer too, that was a plus). We had to split up and my group got the still styling. I would have much preferred the model but that's okay. The name of our theme was Cosmopolitan Chic, we called it this to portray the type of girl that lives in NYC and is always on the go so she always the most important things to her in her bag. Overall this experience was great and this class made me realize that styling is exactly the career path I want to follow.
